Mammoth Gavioli Organ

This month we feature an outstanding Mammoth Gavioli organ. These organs were built originally to front travelling bioscope shows. Thanks to Dave Page, Editor of our sister site TheGalloper.com for sharing this great machine with us!

Many fairground enthusiasts will have stood in front of White Bros. Mammoth Gavioli organ and listened to its rousing renditions of great marches and popular songs. It is loud, and was built to be. Its raison d'être was to attract the attention of passers by as it stood in the show line at the fair fronting their cinematograph show. Competition between proprietors of such shows was fierce.
